We are a community that's goal is to create a dedicated association for the minority home inspector. NAMHI strives to assist in increasing the educational and business development of minorities within the industry. Co-Founders, Bobbi Benavides and Fedor Cardozo decided to launch NAMHI in 2021 after attending several conferences for Home Inspectors and seeing very little representation. "We just wanted to create a seat at the table to enable all communities to advance in this industry."
Fedor Cardozo, a Licensed Master Inspector for 17 years, is a Venezuelan home inspector that knows too well the struggle that minority home inspectors face in an industry that is predominately white. There is a skewed perspective that all associations and business building groups have in the home inspection industry and it is by default focuses on the majority white male.
NAMHI is necessary to the home inspection industry because there is no association that specifically focuses on minority growth.
NAMHI provides resources, training materials, seminars, virtual classes, and network opportunities to all of its members.

With so many minority communities being a part of the home building industry, NAMHI found it imperative for there to be an association that sought to further advance the information available to specifically the Home Inspector.
NAMHI.org is a place where all inspection company resources and training can be found in one place. NAMHI works with various industry experts and vendors to bring you cutting edge information as well as amazing opportunities to grow and learn.
